Hi there, everyone - I hope you all enjoyed the Wine and Cheese social last week! Just a quick message to you all. Glee is, as usual, Wednesday (i.e. tomorrow) at 19.30 in L/047. Rehearsals are, also as usual, sounding great, so we should do really well in the evensong and the concert later on.
Additionally, I know I said this last week, but if anyone is interested in stewarding for the G&S musical (Ruddigore), contact socs46@york.ac.uk. There are four performances (evening of Thursday 14, Friday 15, afternoon and evening of Saturday 16 February), but you would be free to choose when and how many you'd steward at - and you'd get to see the musical for free! Do consider it - we are closely linked with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society (as you might have guessed from the tendency of certain members to break into G&S songs at the drop of a hat), and they're doing us a favour by letting us use L/028 for our concert (it's Sunday of Week 9), so it would be nice if anyone free who can tolerate G&S music would volunteer.
