Glee Residential
It's that time of year again! York Glee Singers annually travel to the village of Cottonstones, where we rehearse and perform a piece over the course of the weekend. We stay in the local church.This year we will be performing Vivaldi's Gloria
The weekend will begin on the evening of Friday 25th April, when we shall get a train to our destination. We will rehearse the piece, performing it during the Sunday morning service before returning on an afternoon train.
The exact times of trains will be confirmed shortly.
As well as rehearsing we shall be indugling in a spot of Pottle (check out http://members.aol.com/tobywombat/index.htm for some history and rules) and some group cooking, what fun!
Details of what you need to bring will also appear shortly, but will definitely include something to sleep on.
